Maria Loboda’s Lord of Abandoned Success explores the concept of unfinished creation. Sculptures of wet clay, wrapped in clothing like business suits or jackets, are left incomplete, symbolizing abandonment. Drawing on the "Eight of Cups" tarot card, the work challenges perceptions of completion, presenting finished objects that appear in a state of neglect. Loboda invites viewers to reflect on the value of what is left behind and the uncertainties within the creative process.
Based on sketched provided by the artist, madFaber produced structures for the clay to be sculpted on top of.
