Peter Newman, a London-based British artist, delves into humanity's connection with space and modernity through various mediums. His sculpture "Skystation" serves not only as an artwork but also as public seating. Inspired by the LC4 chaise-longue and the modernist principle of form follows function, its contours are crafted to accommodate the reclining human form, encouraging observers to gaze upwards at the sky and surrounding architecture.
