Osteoclast (I do not know how I came to be on board this ship, this navel of my ark)

Solar's installation at Exchange Flags for the Liverpool Biennial 2021 features five large sculptures resembling kayaks shaped like human bones. These sculptures symbolize the connection between bones and vessels, highlighting themes of migration, connectivity, and human fragility. Inspired by bone flutes, the installation draws parallels between early human communication and the movement of boats across the ocean, celebrating our capacity for transition and transformation.
