Swirl is a pair of vibrant, site-specific sculptures created for Virgin Voyages' Valiant Lady cruise ship. These installations, crafted from coloured cords woven within stainless steel frames, sit symmetrically on either side of a high-end restaurant, with one piece in red tones and the other in green, reminiscent of navigational lights. Mirrored tops reflect each installation, creating an illusion of floating movement and adding a sense of watery, dreamlike depth to the sculptures, guiding passengers and enhancing the ship's elegant, immersive environment.
